Derek did an awesome job. Our reception went off without a hitch and it was the party of our lives!! He was very receptive to special requests we had and made sure he would pronounce everyone’s names correctly. Very professional, thorough, fun! Entertainment Specialists in general was wonderful. They made it easy to book Derek and communicate through email. Thank you for keeping everyone on the dance floor all night long!

DJ Holtie was AWESOME. He rocked our wedding (June 6, 2015) and was everything we wanted in a DJ and more.. and he was affordable! We first met DJ Holtie at an Entertainment Specialists wedding exposition in Boston at the Harvard Club. We immediately liked him, he was laid back and seemed very comfortable talking with us and seemed like he was going to be very accommodating to all of our music needs. We could tell he wouldn’t be the overbearing (i.e. getting on the mic and yelling etc etc). Leading up to our event DJ Holtie helped keep us organized and was very attentive to our ceremony and reception personalization. During the wedding itself he rocked it. Other than a few “must plays” and a few “definitely do not play” we pretty much gave him free reign to feel out the crowd and keep people dancing… and he did an incredible job. The dance floor was packed from as soon as it opened until the end of the night. In addition to being a great DJ, Derek was a really nice guy! We were even lucky enough to see him at another wedding later in the summer and he did an equally great job. Thank you DJ Holtie, keep rocking it.

My wife and I hired Derek Holt to be our DJ for our wedding in September and we could not have been happier! We are extremely picky when it comes to music, DJs, etc. and Derek absolutely nailed it. Derek met with us to review everything that we wanted to hear as well as our vision on what we wanted for the wedding, he took that information and had our wedding guests dancing all night. We would recommend him to anyone without hesitation!

On May 15 this year we had our big day. It was perfect in every way and a large part of that was because of DJ Holtie. That guy is amazing. He nailed every aspect of our formal songs and introductions, and did so with an awesome energy. Then it was on to the party… The second he started spinning, the dance floor was flooded! It stayed that way until the very last second! We never wanted him to stop! Most people had a hard time stepping outside to cool off or go to the bar for a drink because the music was that good! Nobody wanted to leave. We’ve been hearing about how amazing he was from everyone who attended, regardless of age. Quite a few of our guests have weddings coming up and he is officially their guy. One couple even cancelled their already hired DJ because he swept them off their feet. DJ Holtie will forever be massive part of what we remember about our day. He brought the party to a whole other level. Thanks Holtie!!!
