Derek Holt from Entertainment Specialists recently DJ’d our wedding last month in Hingham, MA and did an amazing job! I’m so glad we chose him. He was easy to work, really responsive ahead of the big day and more importantly played a great mix of music that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. The music was definitely the highlight of the evening. He was professional, friendly, and well worth the cost. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ in the Boston area.

We hired DJ Derek Holt for our Newport wedding and were impressed from our very first point of contact! Derek was quick to respond to emails and texts and was very professional. Most importantly, Derek was very perceptive and understood the exact vibe we envisioned for our wedding reception. He had our wedding guests on their feet from the moment the dance floor opened until he played the final song. Guests were commenting throughout the night about how well he mixed up the music and kept people of all ages dancing. We would give him more stars if we could and recommend him without reservation! In addition to DJ Derek Holt, we had Keith Andrews do our uplighting. We only met him the day of the wedding, but he was incredibly personable and fun! He did a beautiful job with the uplighting throughout the evening, setting the tone for each part of the night from dinner to dancing, and making Belle Mer look even more spectacular!

My wife and I hired Derek Holt to be our DJ for our wedding in September and we could not have been happier! We are extremely picky when it comes to music, DJs, etc. and Derek absolutely nailed it. Derek met with us to review everything that we wanted to hear as well as our vision on what we wanted for the wedding, he took that information and had our wedding guests dancing all night. On May 15 this year we had our big day. It was perfect in every way and a large part of that was because of DJ Holtie. That guy is amazing. He nailed every aspect of our formal songs and introductions, and did so with an awesome energy. Then it was on to the party… The second he started spinning, the dance floor was flooded! It stayed that way until the very last second! We never wanted him to stop! Most people had a hard time stepping outside to cool off or go to the bar for a drink because the music was that good! Nobody wanted to leave. We’ve been hearing about how amazing he was from everyone who attended, regardless of age. Quite a few of our guests have weddings coming up and he is officially their guy. One couple even cancelled their already hired DJ because he swept them off their feet. DJ Holtie will forever be massive part of what we remember about our day. He brought the party to a whole other level. Thanks Holtie!!!
